Andrules Design Group, Inc. was pleased to contribute conceptually festive identity, print and online mediums to build public awareness of Denver, Colorado's first-ever Denver Improv Festival held in October of 2005. Directed by The GroupMind Foundation (formed by a group of Denver-metro improvisers) our mission was to collaborate with celebrated local and national improv talents in promotion of the appreciation and education of the art of improv within the Denver Metro area through festivals, workshops, and performances.

Our team, in collaboration with MediaMonde, Inc. and the Pauls Corporation, contributed our creative to The Adopt-A-Room program, a commitment to turn newly renovated rooms into temporary homes for Colorado-based families in need. This commitment included a donation of $4,000 to cover the cost of renovations and the additional costs with furnishing and decorating the new living areas.

Together, we designed an underwater-themed children's room to inspire smiles and bring joy to families enduring difficult transitional periods in their need to secure long-term housing.

Andrules Design Group, Inc. was approached by the Illinois Workforce Investment Board and the College of Lake County to assist in the design and development of an online employment resource focused on assisting unemployed Lake County residents.

The center provides an array of services for job seekers, including career counseling, education and job-training guidance, financial aid for education and training, personalized career plans, unemployment insurance services, America's Job Bank, and other Internet job listings and referrals to partner organizations.

In addition to expert online guidance, the Job Center provides computers, printers, fax machines and copiers to help unemployed prospects communicate their interest to potential employers who participate in the job-seeker programs.

These collaborative efforts reaped great rewards as the Job Center website continues to serve Lake County's employment prospects in their need to connect with the region's employers. Our team was collectively recognized by Governor Rod R. Blagojevich for its substantial contribution to community wellness and prosperity in the State of Illinois.

The Lake County Film Festival was founded by Nat Dykeman to deliver independent film to Lake County, Illinois. The inaugural festival, held in August of 2004, generated a new level of regional enthusiasm for independent film, including full-page recognition from local media groups such as The Chicago Tribune, The Pioneer Press and other notable publications in the area.

In consideration of the 2nd Annual Lake County Film Festival, the increased audience attendance and overwhelming number of filmmaker submissions, Nat Dykeman approached our team to develop a solid brand identity, interactive online presence and transitional print materials to generate festival capital from sponsors, filmmakers, and independent film enthusiasts. Our collaborative efforts attracted lucrative sponsorships and attendance from directors, producers and film fanatics alike, including Academy Award -nominated director and producer, Steve James ('Hoop Dreams', 'Stevie' and 'Reel Paradise').
